The Casual Cardigan | Fashion Favourites
It’s the time of year where there is a change in the weather. Cooler nights, clearer skies … you can almost taste it in the air. Though it never really gets cold in Bahrain, with a high temperature of 45°C in the summer, anything below 30°C can be classified as chilly! As things are “cooling” down, being outside has become more and more appealing, but it may require you to combine sunglasses with something a bit warmer...
Recently, I stumbled upon these box-style cardigans. I may be fueling my inner-hippie, but not only are they light-weight and fashionable, but they are also super comfortable! Thankfully, they are everywhere at the moment so I have been buying as many as I can get my hands on (I am pretty sure most of my wardrobe is made up of them).
Keeping with the black and grey theme, I teamed this with a black strappy top from Pimkie (I also have several of these in different colours), some very old grey jeans that no longer has a label and a pair of Spring pumps!
On the weekend we visited one of my favorite places in Bahrain, the Bahrain National Museum, to learn about our culture and history. With detailed information, interactive material and life-like representations of life in Bahrain, it is by far one the best museums I have been to. So if you are ever in the country looking for somewhere to go (or looking for a nice place to take some photos) I really recommend going!
